The Butte College Art Gallery presents "Reflexion," an exhibition of artworks in various media by faculty. The exhibit opened Monday, Jan. 23, and will run through Wednesday, Feb. 22. A closing reception will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 2 – 4 p.m. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
The exhibit was curated by art history instructor Sara Smallhouse and student Asahara Traore and features multi-media works from faculty representing the various art disciplines offered at Butte College. As we welcome new and seasoned faculty, it is a great moment to reflect, revisit the process and celebrate the power of creativity. Many skills that teachers expect from their students come out to play in their creative endeavors. This exhibit is a great way to acquaint students with their instructors.
